Monthly Favorites

Monthly Favorites : March 2017

Sharing is caring!

This blog is primarily about essential oils and how to be a #bossbabe. However, just like you, that’s not what I do 24/7.  Work hard, play hard, am I right?

Each month, I am going to have a ‘Monthly Favorites’ post with a few of my everyday favorites. It might be clothing, a new song or a new bottle of wine I’ve tried. Maybe I will let you in on some life happenings, too.

I want you to get to know me as much as I want to get to know you. Leave your in the comments or send me to your blog!

I love to cook. I love cooking for others. I inherited that skill from my mom. She has some of the greatest southern comfort food recipes- don’t all moms?

Unfortunately, I don’t have time to cook dinner every night with the way the shop is exploding right now! I also live by myself currently so it doesn’t make sense for me to spend an hour+ a day, cooking and cleaning up.

I tried Hello Fresh but it was still a time suck. I needed something way quicker.

A coworker told me about Freshly and I have thanked her every day since. I have tried it twice (12 meals total) just to make sure I really do enjoy it. Remember how I said I wouldn’t recommend something unless I really love it?

If you follow me on Instagram you already saw this in my story. Freshly is a meal delivery service. They sell individual meals and deliver right to your door. They are healthy and not frozen. You can pick from dozens of meals and if you like one, you can order again the next week.

When you sign up you get a referral code. Here’s mine! If you want to try it, we will both get $20 off our next order.

Cheers to no grocery shopping, no cooking and no cleaning up!

Big Little Lies

In case you haven’t heard, there is a new show on HBO called Big Little Lies with Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley and Nicole Kidman. It is adapted from an Australian novel and it is so captivating. It follows a few families who appear to have it all together. You find out quickly that there is a lot to unravel.

It airs on Sunday nights but I usually get to it on Mondays. I now look forward to it! With This is Us over, I am glad I have a new show to obsess over! The soundtrack is also amazing.

Walmart Grocery Pick Up

I’m really loving food this month, apparently. Someone JUST told me about picking up groceries at Walmart FO FREE. I wanted to cry and bless them.

Through Walmart Grocery, you can grocery shop online and pick it up at the store. You don’t even have to get out of your car. You pull up to the Pick Up spot, park and they bring your groceries out to your car. FOR. FREE.

So when I do have to pick up some toilet paper or another bottle of wine (equally important), I can just do it online or in the app and pick it all up on the way home from work.

I feel like this is the future. This is what HG Wells should have written about.

I love getting mail and Birchbox is the most simple, rewarding and fun subscription EVER. No, they did not pay me to write that. I am a girl, I love makeup and getting dressed up. But honestly, I don’t like picking those things out. Most of the products I use are because a friend told me about them.

Now, I have Birchbox to tell me about new beauty and skin care products! For $10 a month (includes shipping!) I get a box of 5 samples. The box is customized to my preferences and absolutely adorable. But it doesn’t stop there! After I try the product, I can go online and review it. Each review equals a dollar of store credit. I can cash them in for full size product!

Just like any subscription it seems, you get a referral code. Here’s mine!

Life happenings: I am headed to Young Living’s Beauty School this weekend and I almost have a new apartment picked out! Lots of excitement!

What are you loving this month??
