This past weekend, I went to a Texas Rangers baseball game. Silly me thought that the shade would come a little sooner and I ended up with a really awful sunburn.
You think I’d learn my lesson after all these Texas summers under my belt? It happens to the best of us.

When you spend too much time in the sun, admitting it is the first step. Then, you take that blistering hot shower. Next, put on the scratchiest clothes you own.
Finally, make some after sun spray to douse yourself in every few hours.
I googled and pinterest-ed ‘after sun spray’ and got a ton of results. I combined a couple and added my own flare. I also suggest adding some Aloe Vera into the recipe.
The ingredients for After Sun Spray:
Lavender, Peppermint and Eucalyptus Essential Oil

A super cute sticker (from the shop!)
I used a little of this and a little of that. Seriously, I didn’t use measurements. I know I did use 15 drops of Lavender, 5 drops of Peppermint and 8 drops of Eucalyptus.
You can seriously make SO many bottles of this from these ingredients. I made mine in a 2oz bottle-handy for traveling! If you are feeling generous, this would be a great gift idea going into the summer!
ps make sure to shake your ‘After Sun Spray’ up before you use it!
So, what are YOUR home remedies for sunburns? Maybe you have an all natural sunscreen recipe you’d like to share with me!! LOL!
