It’s the best day of the month- Essential Rewards day!
I look forward to getting my box of new products. Honestly, I usually forget what I order because I select my items as soon as I am able to. Then, it’s like opening a present.

This month I got ONLY oils. Crazy, right? Usually I have a few other household items or NingXia Red but this monthly order consisted of only essential oils.
Remember, from my last post, I explained how you can get free stuff from being in the Essential Rewards program? This month, I got Tangerine for free since I ordered more than 100pv worth of product. Since it was my 9th month to order consecutively, I was also gifted a bottle of Thieves! How cool is that!?
I am trying four new oils this month and I am so excited to share why I chose them this month.
I am a huge fan of Peppermint and a great friend of Peppermint is Wintergreen. Wintergreen is a very strong oil-oh my goodness-and it’s great for muscle and joint pain relief. As a designer and straight hustler, I am on the computer A LOT. The threat of carpal tunnel is real. In the evening, I have to give myself mini hand messages and Wintergreen is going to join Peppermint and Copaiba in my routine.
Wintergreen is also a great ‘wake me up’ kind of oil. It stimulates and increases awareness- a good one to diffuse in the car on long drives.
Did you know, settlers in early America would chew on Wintergreen leaves to prevent tooth decay? Native Americans would chew on the leaves to help them breathe and run longer distances. This would be a good oil to add to your dental hygiene or workout routine.
Elemi is a friend of Frankincense and Myrrh. It has been used for centuries in face moisturizers and in skin ointments for various reasons. It is said to potentially reduce fine lines, wrinkles and improve skin tone. That being said, I am adding it to my nightly face serum. Currently, it includes Frankincense, Lavender, Lemon, Purification and Manuka. EEP. How many oils is too many? 😉
I also read that it may help with muscle and nerve pain so I may try it in my hand message, too. Geez, I love how there are so many uses for these essential oils. Swoon.
Celery Seed has been long recognized as helpful with digestion, liver cleansing and urinary tract support. My kidneys and bladder kind of suck sometimes and I’m hoping adding celery seed into my oil routine will help them out! (this is all theory, of course. I’ll let you know how it goes.)
It is also said to help increase milk flow in nursing mothers. Celery Seed can also be found in Young Living’s GLF blend and JuvaCleanse oils.
This is the oil I am most excited about and I can’t believe I have waited this long to get it in my collection! GC is steam distilled from flowers and has a soothing scent. The fragrance is said to dispel anger and help release emotions. That is not why I got this oil but I’m happy to have it in my back pocket when I’m feeling cranky.
German Chamomile is a powerful antioxidant and is great for digestion, liver and gallbladder health. It is also great for your skin. It has that fancy white label meaning Young Living says it’s okay to take internally. I read in my Essential Oils Pocket Reference about all the different areas it covers and I know it will soon become one of my go-to oils.
What products were in your essential rewards order this month? I need some ideas for mu next essential rewards order.
Thanks for reading! See ya on Instagram.
